I'm an artist who preferably paints in oils on canvas outdoors, plain air, to capture the sense of being on location, feeling the actual life and surroundings of the landscape in one's paintings. I've been able to create my own style and technique in my expressions of paintings. I love strong bright colors and of course texture that is created by use of pallet knives. The knives give me a free style that lets me build the thickness of the paints and drumming the hundreds of colors onto the canvas. I have been a leader in this community and have also been instrumental in developing the Switzerland County Community Art Center in Vevay, IN.
