Bev Whitely, wife of 48 years, mother to 3 daughters, and grandmother to 7 grandchildren, started creating pottery in 1974.  She lived in Baltimore Md. at that time, and joined the Baltimore Potters Guild taking lessons in pottery.  She continued her pottery throughout the years working only on a kick wheel.  After retiring in 2015, and moving to Vevay, IN she then purchased her first electric wheel.  She now is enjoying throwing on the wheel, sculpting, and giving classes at the Art Center.
